Ocean Support: Power and Outlets

Modified on Thu, 22 Feb at 11:03 AM

If the power and outlets in your Ocean are not working, follow these steps:

  • Check if shore power is connected.
  • If the outlets are not working, the main fuse may have blown. You can find the residual current device (FI switch) at the back of the trunk, left in the wardrobe.

If the outlets still do not work:

  • Check if the cable reel is properly connected.
  • Test the functionality of the cable reel:
    1. Press the red safety button on the cable reel.
    2. Plug your phone into the vehicle socket of the cable reel and check if the phone is charging. Alternatively, you can use a hairdryer or other electronic devices.
    3. Borrow a cable reel from neighbors and test it. (If the replacement reel works, contact us)

USB outlets in the kitchen area:

  • Check the first yellow 20-ampere fuse under the driver's seat*.
  • Hold the fuse up to the light and check if the wire is still connected. If not, the fuse has blown.
  • Replace the blown fuse with a new one (available at hardware stores/auto parts dealers).
  • Keep the receipt for the replacement fuse and bring it when returning the vehicle for reimbursement.

*Caution:

To avoid damage to the vehicle's electrical system, always turn off the ignition, lights, and all electrical consumers before changing a fuse, and remove the vehicle key from the ignition.

Replacing a fuse with a higher-rated fuse can cause damage elsewhere in the electrical system.

Ensure that opened fuse boxes are protected from dirt and moisture to prevent damage to the electrical system.

Note: The USB-C outlets in the driver's cabin only work when the ignition is on.
