Camper Subscription: What is the difference between Subscription and Camper Rent?

Modified on Thu, 7 Mar at 1:17 PM

Typically, with camper rental, the vehicle is used for just a few days or weeks. However, with our camper subscription, the minimum term is two months. Additionally, a monthly rate is charged for the subscription*, whereas with a rental, the total amount is due at the time of booking (*this does not apply if your residence is outside of Germany). Another difference is the cost. Since the vehicle is used for a longer period, the terms of the subscription are more favorable than those of a rental. Please note, however, that the subscription is somewhat less flexible in terms of cancellation, free kilometers, and booking adjustments. Another difference is the insurance. With camper rental, there is the option to choose an insurance upgrade to reduce the deductible in the event of damage. With the subscription, the basic insurance package is included, featuring a deductible of up to €1.500 in the event of damage, and cannot be upgraded.
