California Support: Water is leaking from the bathroom into the interior of the vehicle

Modified on Tue, 12 Nov at 4:10 PM

If water is leaking from your bathroom into the interior of the vehicle in the Grand California 600/680, please follow these instructions:

Check whether the hoses in the bathroom cabinet are wet on the outside. If this is the case, it usually indicates that there is frost damage in the water system and that the tap and the seals need to be replaced after your trip. You can still use the water system as usual and continue your journey, but you must regularly wipe away the leaking water with towels and make sure the pipes are dry.

If the water is only leaking during showering and the hoses are not damp, it is usually the case that the shower cabin door is no longer sealed properly. In this case, water may run out of the shower cabin towards the seating area. Simply place a towel in front of the door while using the shower to prevent water from spreading.
