- Is the tank still more than a quarter full, and is the camping battery sufficiently charged?
- Have you set the operating mode to "Continuous Heating"? (Only this mode leads to the desired heating result)
- If the heater still doesn't work, start the engine and set the heater to level 10. Let the engine run for 2-3 minutes, and then check if the heater works again with the engine turned off.
- It may also happen that the battery was discharged too much during heating, especially after turning it on. You can remedy this by connecting the camper to shore power.
- Another cause could be a faulty fuse:
- Carefully pull out the 5 and 25-ampere fuses and check if they are blown.*
- After replacing the fuses, drive a few meters to completely reset the system. Then turn on the heater again.
- Carefully pull out the 5 and 25-ampere fuses and check if they are blown.*
*Caution: To avoid damage to the vehicle's electrical system, always turn off the ignition, lights, and all electrical consumers before changing a fuse, and remove the vehicle key from the ignition.
Replacing a fuse with a higher-rated fuse can cause damage elsewhere in the electrical system.
Ensure that opened fuse boxes are protected from dirt and moisture. Dirt and moisture in the fuse boxes can cause damage to the electrical system.
