Occasionally, the rear bench seat in the Mercedes Marco Polo may malfunction, for example, if something is lying behind it or something is jammed, preventing it from moving up or down. To restore functionality, first ensure that no luggage items are blocking the rear bench and slide it all the way forward.
You will then see a black cable (Image 1), which you should unplug and then replug. After this, try operating the rear bench again.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, you can reset the rear bench seat by removing the black cover (Image 2) and pressing the reset button (Image 3) for a few seconds. This should reactivate the electronics, allowing the rear bench to return to its original position.
