Palermo Support: Auxiliary Heating

Modified on Fri, 1 Mar at 2:42 PM

If the auxiliary heating in your Palermo is not working, start by checking the diesel tank to ensure there is enough fuel. It's also crucial to verify that your camping battery is sufficiently charged.

If the issue persists, try disabling the RCD switch located in the kitchen area behind the driver's seat for a few minutes, then restart it.

If the auxiliary heating still refuses to work, it's worth checking the fuses. You can find them by sliding the rear seat all the way forward, right at the level of the fridge on the floor.

Please briefly remove the two fuses as shown in the diagram (15 and 7.5 amps) and check if they are still intact*.

*Caution:

To prevent damage to the vehicle's electrical system, ensure the ignition, lights, and all electrical devices are turned off, and the vehicle key is removed from the ignition before changing a fuse.

Replacing a fuse with one of a higher rating can cause damage elsewhere in the electrical system.

Keep the fuse box covers closed to protect against dirt and moisture. Dirt and moisture in the fuse boxes can cause damage to the electrical system.
