If you're having trouble with your gas stove, the first step is to head to the trunk and check the gas bottle:
Have you turned on the gas bottle, and is it properly connected?
Have you pressed the black vent button?
You need to press the button on the gas bottle's hose firmly several times. You will often hear the air escaping when you do this.
Has the crash sensor been triggered?
The vehicle is equipped with a gas crash sensor, which can be activated, for example, if you drive over a large bump. In this case, you'll need to press the yellow point (which has popped out like a pin) back in to resume normal operation of the gas system.
Is the gas safety switch activated?
You can find the safety switch for the gas stove under the rear seat opposite the kitchen area.
Is there still gas in the bottle?
If the gas stove is not igniting, it could mean that the gas bottle is empty. A quick lift of the bottle will give you a good sense of its fill level. If it's empty, you can connect the second gas bottle (if available in your vehicle), or refill or replace it at a hardware store or camping supply store. Don’t forget to keep the receipt if you'd like to request a refund from us.
