California/Toskana Support: Flap of toilet cassette cannot be opened

If you are unable to open the flap of your toilet cassette, first close all doors of your vehicle and lock and then unlock the camper. The mechanism of the toilet cassette is linked to the central locking system of the vehicle. Also, please make sure that the lever under the toilet is on the left.

If this approach still doesn't work, there is a red emergency release strap under the rear bench seat (see Image 1). Simply pull on it very gently (the strap can tear if pulled too hard), and the flap will open again.
