- Is the tank still over a quarter full and is the camping battery still sufficiently charged?
- Have you set the "continuous heating" mode? (Only this mode leads to the desired heating result).
- If the heater still doesn't work, start the engine and set the heater to level 10. Let the engine run for 2-3 minutes and then check if the heater works again with the engine off.
- It may also be that the battery has been discharged too much during heating. Especially after turning it on, a lot of energy is consumed. You can remedy this by connecting the camper to shore power.
- Another cause could be a blown fuse:
- Carefully remove the 5 and 25 amp fuses and check if they are blown*.
- After replacing the fuses, drive a few meters to completely reset the system. Then turn the heater back on.
- Carefully remove the 5 and 25 amp fuses and check if they are blown*.
*Caution: To avoid damage to the vehicle's electrical system, always turn off the ignition, lights, and all electrical consumers and remove the vehicle key from the ignition before changing a fuse. If a fuse is replaced with a higher-rated fuse, damage may also occur elsewhere in the electrical system. Open fuse boxes must be protected from dirt and moisture to prevent damage to the electrical system. Dirt and moisture in the fuse boxes can cause damage to the electrical system.
