Wales Bürstner Signeo Support: Gas

Modified on Wed, 22 May at 2:21 PM

If the gas stove in your camper is giving you trouble, the first step is to check the gas bottle in the trunk:

Have you turned on the gas bottle?

Have you pressed the pink or black ventilation button?

To do this, press the button on the gas bottle hose firmly several times. You should hear the air escaping.

Is the gas safety switch, located in the first drawer of the kitchen unit, turned on?

(Vertical = open)

In most vehicles, next to the light switches in the kitchen area, there is an additional switch that also serves as a safety switch for the gas stove. Please activate this switch. It lights up green when activated. After that, you can use the gas.

Is there enough gas left in the bottle?

If the gas stove does not ignite, it might be because the gas bottle is empty. Lifting the bottle briefly will give you a good idea of the fill level. If the bottle is empty, you can refill or exchange it at a hardware store or a camping supply store. Don't forget to keep the receipt if you want to claim a refund from us.
