Wales Bürstner Signeo Support: Water leaking

Modified on Wed, 22 May at 11:37 AM

If you notice water leaking from your vehicle, the first thing you should do is ensure that both the freshwater tank and the greywater tank are closed.

To check the freshwater tank, go to the rear of your vehicle on the passenger side. Lift the mattress and open the hatch underneath to access the tank cap.

For the greywater tank, you will find a special square key inside the vehicle that you can use to open or close the tank. The greywater tank is located on the driver's side, outside near the rear tire.

Make sure to store the key securely after use and not to leave it outside the vehicle, especially during driving, to avoid losing it.

If water still leaks, it could be that the frost guard has been activated. This mechanism protects the pipes from freezing at low temperatures and is an important safety measure.

You can find the frost guard under the rear bench seat. Its location is also indicated by a sticker on the rear bench seat in some vehicles. To reset the frost guard, turn the blue wheel 90 degrees until it clicks into place, and then press the blue button at the bottom of the device. This will close the water pipes and make your vehicle's water system operational again.

Next to the frost guard, you will also find a yellow valve. Check if this valve is in the up position, which means it is open. To close it, simply push the valve back down.
