Genua Support: Electricity and Sockets

Modified on Mon, 4 Mar at 1:28 PM

If you're connected to shore power and the sockets aren't working, please ensure all cables are properly connected and check the extension reel for functionality:

Ensure the extension reel is properly connected.

Test the functionality of the extension reel:

Press the red reset button on the extension reel.

Plug your phone into the vehicle connection of the extension reel and check if it charges (alternatively, you can use a hairdryer or other electronic devices to test).

Borrow an extension reel from a neighbor and test it (if the replacement reel works, please contact us).

If the extension reel is working but you're still experiencing power issues, check if the main fuse for the electricity is on. You can find this in the rear trunk, in the side cabinet. If the fuse has tripped, simply turn it back on, and it should work again.

Additionally, it might help to completely turn off the power. To do this, exit the vehicle and go to the driver's side, under the driver's seat. There, you'll find a battery block with fuses and a small "On/Off" switch. Please turn this off, wait a minute, and then turn it back on. This should reset the system, and the sockets should work again.
