Wales Innovan Support: Electricity and Sockets

Modified on Fri, 1 Mar at 2:26 PM

Your Wales Innovan is equipped with various types of sockets: 230 Volt, USB, and 12 Volt. Please note that the 230-Volt sockets can only be used when connected to an external power source.

To use the camper's electrical system, you first need to turn on the power at the control panel located above the entrance door. This panel also allows you to check the current battery level and the water levels in both the fresh and grey water tanks.

If you're experiencing issues with the power supply, check whether the RCD (Residual Current Device), located under the rear seat, is turned on.

If a specific function, such as the lighting, is not working, it's worth checking the fuses in the trunk. You'll find these under the bed near the wet cell, concealed under a cover. The fuses are labeled according to their function, which helps you quickly identify and solve any issues*.

*Caution:

To avoid damaging the vehicle's electrical system, make sure the ignition, lights, and all electrical devices are turned off and the vehicle key is removed from the ignition before changing a fuse.

Replacing a fuse with one of a higher rating can cause damage to other parts of the electrical system.

Keep the fuse box covers closed to protect against dirt and moisture. Dirt and moisture in the fuse boxes can cause damage to the electrical system.
