Wales Innovan Support: Water System

Modified on Fri, 1 Mar at 2:23 PM

If you're encountering issues with the water system in your Wales Innovan, start by ensuring there's enough water in the tank and that the wastewater tank isn't full. You can check the current levels on the display above the entrance door. Also, make sure the power is turned on, as the water pump won't work without electricity.

Next, try running water from the taps, both in the kitchen and the bathroom, to see if water is coming out anywhere.

If no water flows, listen for a humming sound from the water pump. If you can't hear anything, it's possible the water pump is faulty or a fuse has blown.

In such a case, check the fuse for the water pump. You'll find the fuses under a cover, accessible by lifting the mattress next to the wet cell*. If the fuse has blown, you can obtain a replacement from a hardware store or sometimes at gas stations. Keep the receipt so we can reimburse you for the cost upon your return.

Should the pump continue to hum non-stop, turn off the camper unit for a few minutes and then turn it back on, making sure both taps are firmly closed.

*Caution:

To avoid damaging the vehicle's electrical system, ensure the ignition, lights, and all electrical devices are turned off and the vehicle key is removed from the ignition before changing a fuse.

Replacing a fuse with one of a higher rating can cause damage elsewhere in the electrical system.

Keep the fuse box covers closed to protect against dirt and moisture. Dirt and moisture in the fuse boxes can cause damage to the electrical system.
