Wales Innovan Support: Auxiliary Heating

Modified on Fri, 1 Mar at 2:39 PM

The auxiliary heating in your Wales Innovan can be easily controlled via the Truma control panel located directly above the entrance door. An accompanying diagram will clearly explain the various functions to you.

If you only wish to heat water, expect a warming time of about 30 minutes. However, if you use the heating in combination with the water boiler, it may take up to 80 minutes to reach the desired temperature.

A glowing light on the control knob indicates that the heating is operational. A yellow LED light indicates the "Boiler Heating Phase." If a red LED illuminates or flashes, this suggests a malfunction.

Please note: Opening the window at the rear seat bank will interrupt the heating operation. In this case, you should close the window and reset the system by turning off the heating (then no LED should flash) and then turning it back on.

If the heating does not work despite the window being closed, please also check that there is enough gas and that the gas valves are open.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact us. Be sure to mention whether and how the light is flashing, including the blinking intervals or the color of the LED. This will help us further narrow down the error.
