California/Toskana Support: Water pump is not working

Modified on Thu, 22 Feb at 10:55 AM

If the water pump does not work, first check whether the on-board battery is still sufficiently charged. If this is the case, check whether the water pump fuse in the boot is intact. You will find the vehicle's fuse box behind the cover on the left-hand side of the boot.

Open it and find the fuses in the upper part. To remove the fuse for the water pump, take out the second fuse* (five-amp fuse) from the left in the bottom row (see picture 1).

To see if the fuse has blown, hold it up against the light and check if the wire inside is still connected. If it is blown, you can buy a replacement fuse, e.g. at a DIY store.

Be sure to use the correct fuse for your vehicle.

If you are unsure, please consult with us. If you use the wrong fuse, it can damage the vehicle's electronics in the worst case. Please keep the receipt and bring it with you when you return the vehicle, so we can reimburse you.

You can also check whether the plug connection in the kitchen unit under the mattress is connected correctly (see image 2).

*Attention:

To avoid damage to the vehicle's electrical system, always turn off the ignition, lights, and all electrical consumers, and remove the vehicle key from the ignition before changing a fuse.

If a fuse is replaced with a higher-rated fuse, damage may also occur elsewhere in the electrical system.

Opened fuse boxes must be protected from dirt and moisture. Dirt and moisture in the fuse boxes can cause damage to the electrical system.
