If the power and outlets in your Beach are not working, follow these steps:
- Check if the shore power is connected.
- If the outlets are not working, the main fuse may have blown. You can find the circuit breaker (FI switch) at the rear of the trunk on the driver's side behind a flap, where the jack is also located. The switch is hidden in the top left corner. To make it easier, take a photo with your phone so you can better locate the switch.
If the outlets still don't work:
- Check if the cable drum is properly connected.
- Test the cable drum for functionality:
- Press the red safety button on the cable drum.
- Plug your phone into the vehicle connection of the cable drum and check if it charges. (Alternatively, you can use a hairdryer or other electronic devices.)
- Borrow a cable drum from neighbors and test it. (If this works, contact us.)
If the cable drum works, it could still be due to a blown fuse.
- Check the 15 amp fuse under the driver's seat:
- Hold the fuse up to the light and check if the wire is still connected. If not, the fuse has blown.
- Replace the blown fuse with a new one (available at hardware stores/auto parts stores).
- Keep the receipt for the replacement fuse and bring it with you for reimbursement upon return.
*Caution:
To avoid damage to the vehicle's electrical system, always turn off the ignition, lights, and all electrical consumers, and remove the vehicle key from the ignition before changing a fuse.
If a fuse is replaced with a higher-rated fuse, damage may also occur elsewhere in the electrical system.
Opened fuse boxes must be protected from dirt and moisture. Dirt and moisture in the fuse boxes can cause damage to the electrical system.
Note: The USB-C outlets in the driver's compartment only work when the ignition is on.
